Founded in 1774, Mappin & Webb is one of the UK's leading retailers of fine jewellery and silverware. Today it is renowned for combining timeless craftsmanship with superior quality and contemporary design to produce exquisite jewellery, elegant silverware, watches and glassware.
The Challenge
L&H Solutions were appointed as the Project Managers for five Mappin & Webb stores; the Flagship Knightsbridge store, three Heathrow ‘Airside’ stores and the first ‘Watches of Switzerland’ UK store in Bond Street. Creating the right environment to display beautiful and expensive objects has its own unique set of issues, such as sourcing bespoke display cabinets, and maintaining controlled and secure contractor movement between ‘Duty’ and ‘Non-Duty’ environments.
The Solution
L&H Solutions created a dynamic new look for ‘Watches of Switzerland’ with innovative projected window graphics and panels.
L&H Solutions transformed the Mappin & Webb interiors with bespoke display cabinets and floor finishes creating a new feel and upmarket brand personality that has given the client increased sales and brand longevity.
